You will need an antenna.

At its simplest, by connecting an antenna to the TV.

Another option that costs more, but may be a good solution anyway is to connect an antenna to a device such as Air TV or Tablo, which will put the antenna signal on your network, allowing you to watch from any device.

One other way doesn't require an antenna. Subscribe to a live streaming service that carries local channels. Most of them start around $65/month.
