When replaying a game through the NBA app on Roku devices the options are limited. The only options to stream a replayed game are the cast from the two teams and "mobile view". This compared to the options available through the mobile version of the NBA app that offers additional streaming options: home condensed game, 10 minute condensed, away condensed game, all possessions, etc., etc. 

These streaming options were made available last season on Roku devices... Will the be returning to the NBA app on Roku devices?

NBA (or someone they contract with) creates and maintains the Roku-compatible version of the NBA app tailored for the Roku operating system and provides it to Roku.  Roku just provides the platform on which it runs.   All content originates on NBA's servers, and Roku just relays what NBA feeds it.

For questions about the NBA version that runs on the Roku and the features programmed into it, you really need to contact NBA.
