MLB app will not load and closes

I have updated it and Roku but the MLB app just closes everytime I try to load it.  Goes back to all apps page.  Help I’m paying for this and missed my game tonight!

 

Update.  I got on the Roku app on my phone to remove and re add the MLB app and that worked

    If, after attempting the suggestions above, you are still unable to play any titles from a single channel while content from other channels plays fine, contact the customer support team for the channel provider to report the issue and get help. Most of the channels on Roku are managed directly by the channel providers themselves.

    We appreciate you letting us know about the issue you've encountered with accessing the MLB app on your Roku Express 4K+ and Roku Express 4K devices. We'd be happy to provide further information about this.

    Please be advised that the majority of content on the Roku platform comes from streaming channels maintained and updated independently by the channel's provider. Since MLB's requirements do not support your Roku device's model, we highly recommend canceling your annual subscription.

    However, if your subscription is directly from MLB, we highly recommend contacting their Support team for further assistance.

    Doesn't work. Took my money. Just added the app on my roku, added my credit card, everything accepted. The I can't watch anything. I can scroll to a game, select it, then it returns to the home screen. **bleep** you and **bleep** mlb

      We understand that you're having issues with the MLB  channel on your Roku. We would highly recommend the following steps below:

      • Remove the channel >> Restart the device >> Add channel.
      • Update the channel by highlighting the app and pressing the star button on your remote.
      • Restart the router.
      • Contact the channel provider for further assistance as this issue may be known on their end.

      Additionally, you can refer to this support article on how to resolve a channel playback issue for further information.

        Cant remove the channel. The only reason I signed up for MLB was to watch the Orioles.  The only games I cannot watch on Roku are Oriole Games.  I LIVE IN WISCONSIN!!!! IAM NOT IN ORIOLES MARKET!  REFUND MY SUBSCRIPTION NOW.  LOSERS.  NO support service to contact. sucks.

      I cannot get it to work on Roku or smart tv. So you are not alone

  • This still isnt fixing my problem. App appears to load and then just returns to the prior screen (typically the homepage). I’ve removed the app several times both on screen and via the roku app and it doesn’t fix it. Any advice?

      Mine stopped on August 5th, the same date that MLB Version 8.9 Build 2 shows it was released. I am assuming this is an MLB issue., not Roku, but who knows for sure? I have active trouble tickets with MLB but every 24 hours or so they send me an email and say the ticket is going to be closed, reply if you still have an issue, I do and nothing else happens... a week without my Baltimore Orioles!!
