Lack of channel Apps - lost private apps now NHL

Seems streaming providers are choosing to not create Roku apps anymore.  Why is this?

We lost additional content from the ability to load private apps, now in Canada NHL Centre Ice has been changed to Sportsnet.

No Sportsnet app or TSN app in Canada.

Feels like Roku is being abandoned by content providers.

Thanks for posting to the Roku Community!

Please be noted that many channels on Roku are developed and maintained by the channel provider themselves. Channels, Themes, and Screensavers can be removed at any time for a variety of reasons.
