When I travel, I am unable to pick up local channels currently my apps think I am in Atlanta Georgia when I am in White Pigeon MI. How can I set my location in the Roku settings?
Unfortunately, you can't. Some individual channels allow you to enter a location (usually a zip code), but most rely on IP address geo-location, which isn't always accurate. Depending on your ISP, your IP address might be many miles from your actual location. I can use my work for an example. My office is near Seattle WA, but our entire network accesses the Internet through a control point in Oklahoma City. So anything that determines my location by IP address, such as web page advertisements, thinks I'm in OKC. Nothing I can do about that. Your hotel when traveling could easily be doing something similar.
