How to delete The Weather Network

Highlighted TWC app, pressed *, given option to manage subscription (no remove option offered), canceled auto renewal.  No change in options offered.  Only choice other than move app (relocates icon in stack, does not alter function/fault.). Still unable to delete TWC and app still locks up on load until the timeout screen.  Annoying because the stick must be powered down to clear the error screen.

Re: How to delete The Weather Network

Warm greetings from the Roku Community, @clarkep8909!

The steps you've taken to try and remove The Weather Network channel are appreciated and we'd like to suggest further troubleshooting steps to help you.

Removing channels from your Roku streaming device or TV is possible both from your channel lineup or through the Roku Channel Store. In this case, we suggest removing it directly from the Roku Mobile App.

  1. Launch the Roku mobile app.
  2. Tap Channels from the navigation bar.

  3. From the Channels tab, select My Channels to view a list of channels installed on your Roku device.
  4. Tap and hold a channel to view more information.
  5. Tap Remove and confirm your decision.

For further information about this, kindly visit our official Support website on How to remove channels from your Roku streaming device.

Best regards,
Carly

Re: How to delete The Weather Network

@clarkep8909  You cancelled auto renewal but your current subscription is still active and paid-up until the next renewal date. After that date you will be able to delete the app, the option will be there when you press *.
