Hbomax freezes and reset the Roku

Hbomax lodes fine and the video plays okay but when I go to either fast forward or rewind it it freezes and resets the Roku. It only happens with hbomax

Which Roku device do you have? Model number and OS version/build are helpful. Settings > System > About

I am having an issue with the Peloton app.  Periodically when I rewind the video the video will freeze although the audio will continue.  The only way for me to get it going again is to back out of the app, go to settings and power off and on the Roku.  Then the rewind will work for a time and then the same thing will happen.

I have already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it but that has not helped.
