I am unable get to the 'remove channel', 'check for updates' screen for HDHomerun app by using the *key or going to the channel store, finding the channel, and clicking 'ok'. I am not having that problem with any of my other apps.
Thank you for any suggestions you have for another way to uninstall and reinstall this app

May we know if you're directly subscribed to the channel and not through Roku? If so, kindly perform the options provided in this support article to remove the channel.
