Sometimes when these glitches happen on the devices, you can use the official Roku mobile app (on a mobile device) and then using the Remote feature can play them on your TV.
It may be a bit inconvenient, but worth a shot.

Sometimes though the glitches resolve themselves in a day or two when the Roku performs its daily/nightly update checks.
