I tried numerous shows one’s watching and new ones same thing. Click on play goes away for second or so comes back to play again and again etc.

Thanks for posting in the Roku Community regarding the issue you are experiencing with content not playing within The Roku Channel.

We can understand how frustrating it can be to not relax and just watch something on the TV. Rest assured, we will be more than happy to look further into the issue. Can you please provide us the following information:

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
  • does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
  • specific content title that you are seeing this issue occur with
  • tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times and provide us with this ID)
  • steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing 
  • where are you currently located

Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate the issue further. We look forward to hearing back your response and helping us look into the issue.

started yesterday 

no changes to system 

watch Heartland series with save titles to keep up to watch next one S2 episode 5

will not show any programming on Roku channel now

hope you can help

Channel: The Roku Channel only

Content: Antiques Roadshow S17 : E9 (But it is not working with any show on the Roku Channel)

Tracker ID for current issue: 52-156-613

Steps to reproduce issue:

1. Go to any show on the Roku Channel

2. Click Play (if you've never watched it before) or click Resume (you previously started watching the show)

Result: Quick black screen (as though the content will start playing) then return immediately to the page with the Play or Resume button.

Location: Painted Post, NY 14870

Please cite specific content title examples that you have tried to play on The Roku Channel that is experiencing an issue. In addition, who is your ISP (internet service provider)?
