I just subscribed to Paramount+ through the Roku app on a Roku streaming stick. With the premium subscription, I am supposed to also have local CBS live TV. However, I cannot find any place on the app or on the website that shows live CBS access - all I've found is CBS news stations from big markets, nothing that shows local live CBS feed.
I keep thinking I'm just overlooking something, but if so, it certainly isn't intuitive. Can anyone help me find live local CBS?
Live local CBS is only if you have the AD-FREE version of P+. Peacock also now also has that same feature for the AD-FREE version.
I did subscribe to the premium ($9.99) ad-free version of Paramount+. It specifically said it includes CBS live local station. But I can't find it anywhere.
You are right. Just checked on two Roku's and it is missing. Oddly, the P+ app on my cable box has it, and my phone.
I don't know if there was an update, but in the app settings there is a Live TV setting. Mine said nothing available, but I was able to select a Check Location box, and that then listed WBBM for me in the Chicago area. I picked that, and now it works.
Hi @chroak
Thank you for the inquiry!
Does the issue only occur on CBS or across other channels installed on your Roku device?
Many channels on Roku are maintained by the channel provider themselves. Since the issue only occurs on the CBS channel, that's an indication that there's likely an issue within that specific channel that needs to be addressed with an update from them. We indeed recommend contacting CBS Support to report the issue and get help.
Let us know if there's any difference after.
Warm Regards,
Lianna
