I recently added the Apple TV+ app onto my Roku 2 device. However, the App will not launch. Its been updated, deleted and re-installed. Does this mean the TV itself is not HDR compliant for Apple TV+ (not sure what HDR is and how it relates to an App not launching).
HDR is High Dynamic Range and only applies to some 4k content. It's not necessary for any channel/app.
What do you mean by "will not launch"? What happens?
When you removed it and reinstalled it did you restart your Roku from Settings->System before you reinstalled it? If not, try again. While you're there, check for updates again. What Roku software version is displayed under Settings->System->About?
You can click on the App icon and nothing happens - nothing loads/opens - no issues with my Prime/HuLu/ESPN/Disney/Paramount

would a restart remove all passwords entered for my other Apps, etc.?
