Hello,
I purchased a Roku Express on 22 June 2021 from Amazon.de (Germany) and sold by Amazon.de. The Roku Express became available on Amazon.de in November 2020. Clearly displayed in the photos below of the Amazon.de webpage, the About this item description, states:
Enjoy Live-TV...Disney+,Prime Video, Now TV and many more.
The Link to the Roku Express on the Amazon.de webpage:Roku Express | HD Streaming Media Player: Amazon.de: Elektronik & Foto
I contacted Amazon.de and all they could do was email a link for the Roku Support page.
PLEASE - is there a way to add the Amazon Prime Video channel? Surprisingly I was able to add the FYC Prime Video channel (for your consideration), but I need a channel code to open it.
Can I factory reset my Roku device, use a VPN to place me in England and sign-in with a new user name to get the channel on my Roku?
Any advice & guidance you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
Schnurr

It's interesting that a major retailer is selling it in Germany, but all the images show English, and the Country selector on the Roku website, doesn't have Germany as an option. I also see that someone asked on the Amazon page if it works in Germany and the answers are that it does not. Were the box and the instructions in German? I think Amazon has gotten so big that it doesn't really know what it's selling some times.
I live in Belgium, and I was glad to find a Roku device on Amazon.FR
I installed it, got access to Spotify, Netflix, Youtube and Apple TV - but I can't find the Disney+ and Amazon Prime applications on the Roku store. These apps are available in Belgium as I am a suscriber and they are available on my Apple TV in the living room.
@Roku can you help here ?
Hi @fredbe1981
Thanks for letting us know about the issue you're experiencing.
Please be advised that you can activate any Roku Player or TV to any Roku account, however, channel availability/access will vary from region to region. Channels that are currently available in any given region are certified for the Roku devices sold in that region.
For more information, you'd want to contact any specific channel/service provider to inquire further about which Roku devices they support their channel (app) on in your current region.
We appreciate your understanding.
All the best,
Kariza
