Amazon Prime does not advance to next episode after upgrade to 10.5

When watching an Amazon Prime TV episode it does not advance to the next episode. It gets stuck then displays an error message.

The video and audio of the next episode are playing in the background but are obscured.

This started as soon as I updated the Roku operating system to 10.5
