When a program I am listening to goes to commercial the volume of sound gets very loud and unbearable. Have to mute it. Any fixes?
Ask your representatives to support the “CALM Modernization Act” which would apply commercial volume limits to streaming. (Similar to what was done years ago on broadcast TV.)
Other than that, watch non-commercial channels or be ready to hit the mute button.
I don't know if by now you've gotten a fix... but in case..
While watching the channel/app, press the * on your Roku controller.
There should be a volume option... find option there for 'volume leveling'... set it to selected...
Worked for me. BIG relief.
