Thanks jpstuff. Same setup as you (Roku Ultra, Lg OLED C2) and same problem as everyone else. Just switched Roku from Automatic to 4K Dolby Vision HDR and keeping my fingers crossed 🙂
Can confirm - Streambar Pro with LG C2 OLED TV - playback controls fail - fast forward, rewind, pause and play would cause playback to crash. Uninstall of app, clearing cache, nothing helped.
Solution:
Settings -> Display type
Change -> Automatic (4K HDR10 at 60fps) to 4K HDR 60fps TV
@RokuDanny-R How do I send the info requested in this post?
Thanks for the post.
Please feel free to post the information in a reply or if you feel more comfortable, you can send the information in a PM.
Thanks,
Danny
How is this a solution?
Add me to the list. Samsung TV capable of HDR10+. My Roku Streaming Stick 4K.
this app constantly crashes while it’s set to automatic. Have to drop it down to keep it stable but remote is still very glitchy.
I'd send a PM but I don't see how.
Here is the info without the SN
Model 8101R2
Ver. 11.5.0, build 4312-95
Channel: Acorn
Ver 4.11 Build 221020
Issue ID 21-509-905
As noted in other places, I have been able to address by changing from Automatic to 4K Dolby Vision HDR.
Switching away from automatic also made the problem go away for me. Too bad the workaround came from a user instead of Roku or Acorn. [sigh]
This solved the issue for me as well. I have a Roku Ultra and an LG G2. Set to 4K Dolby Vision HDR and it is working as expected.
The problem is with Roku Streambar apparently. I changed the TV setting and Acorn stopped crashing.
