Hello! @Twohottothot,

Thanks for your first post here in the Roku Community!

We're happy to help you integrate your Indoor Camera with Google or Amazon.

Google Assistant is the voice service from Google and is connected to the Google Home app, as well as other voice-activated devices like Google Nest Mini or Google Nest Hub. With Google Assistant you can easily and quickly control your Roku® Smart Home devices with your voice.

What you need to get started

In addition to a compatible Roku Smart Home device, you will need the following:

  • A free Roku account
  • A Google Assistant-enabled device such as a Google Pixel phone, Google Nest Mini, Google Nest Audio, Google Nest Hub, and Google Assistant on Android or iOS, Android TV, Android Auto, etc.
  • The Google Home mobile app downloaded to your iOS or Android device

For help setting up a Google Assistant-enabled device or downloading the mobile app, visit Google help.

How to set up Google Assistant

To control your smart home devices with Google Assistant, you need to link your Roku account to your Google account using the Google Home mobile app.

Use the following steps to link your Roku account and Google account.

  1. Launch the Google Home mobile app on your smartphone
  2. Tap Get started (Android) or Settings (iOS)
  3. Select Works with Google
  4. Tap the Magnifying glass  icon and search for Roku
  5. Select Roku from the list
  6. When prompted, sign in to your Roku account
  7. Select Continue and follow the prompts to return to the Google Home app

Please keep us updated on your progress, and we will be happy to provide further assistance. We look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks,
Arjiemar
