  • I am having the exact same issue.  I have two wired Roku outdoor cameras that worked fine until I had to get my internet equipment changed.  The setup button is unresponsive.  I have power cycled the devices several times and it stays on a solid blue light.  I need help Roku with fixing this.  Is this a software issue and are you replacing these cameras or exchanging them at least.

      Hi shouston15,

Looks like you're having a problem with your Roku outdoor wired camera. Just a heads up, your Roku Smart Home cameras need a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection to set up and work properly.

      Hope this helps.

  • I am experiencing the same issue. I have had the wired outdoor camera for 6 months. It connected to my WiFi network and has worked, with the exception of having to restart and reconnect to the camera several times, pretty well. About 2 weeks ago my WiFi router had to be replaced, so I now have a new router, which means a new network and password. I couldn’t get my camera to reconnect to the new network so I followed instructions I found on this site to reconnect. I was instructed to delete the device and re-link it to my app. As the original poster stated in his statement, my camera will not reconnect. I press the setup button but it doesn’t work. I have pressed and held the button for as long as 30 seconds but no luck. The app says I will hear “Ready to Connect” but I don’t.

Nothing will work to reconnect. Please come up with a way to reset the camera to allow it to reconnect

      Hi, Redbone_43.

Thanks for getting back to us!

Thanks for letting us know that you're having an issue with your camera. We'd like to know more about this.

Is there any status light on the camera? If it doesn't have, please try to plug in the camera on another power outlet.

      Please keep us posted.

      Thanks,

The camera powers on. The issue is that I only get a red light. It doesn’t turn blue, it stays red. It makes no difference if I press the setup button or hold it down for at least 1 minute. The camera doesn’t respond
