Deactivated cameras/connection w/indoor cameras

My indoor cameras did not record theft activity that has occurred in my place on multiple occasions. I have the home plan, but do not have the cd to record to my computer. How can I possibly get assistance as to when my indoor cameras were de-activated to allow this theft on several occasions. I know it was an inside job, but need to have some sort of proof to take to the police.
