showtime promotion not playing on roku player, only laptop. says subscribe when i've already paid

OK, So I paid for the showtime promotion so I can watch the new Dexter season. When I try to use the subscription, Roku is telling me to update my payment and subscribe. It's listed on my subscriptions in my account but DOES NOT TRANSFER to my roku player under the same **bleep** account. 

I've read every forum and no-one is answering this question, only side-stepping the issue with some automatic reply.   NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT FROM ROKU EITHER. NO ANSWERS ON THE FORUM.  I paid through the roku channel, not cable, not anytime. It doesnt work. I've restarted, signed out of everything a few times already. This problem has gone unaddressed and any search to fix it brings irrelevant results.

UPDATE: Had to FACTORY RESET my Roku Streaming stick, enter wi-fi, email and everything.  Hey roku, your shares went from $40 to $400+  YOU CAN SURELY AFFORD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shouldn't be allowed to be a publicly traded company with NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. 

HOw disgustingly annoying it is to be told to read other people's questions to figure out your own needs. 

There went 3 hours of my life. D__g**bleep**!

Glad you got it to work. I paid for the same promotion through the advertisement on my device and was charged full price for Fox News instead, which I know I did not click on (or even see). The invoice doesn't show up on my roku account so there is no way to get help for it. The phone number next to the charge on my bank statement just sends you to the *no-support site. Kinda pathetic.

That's not possible since I was charged but there is no invoice I can select.

I'm having the same issue and know all my payment account info is up to date. I'm going to dispute my .99 payment that Roku charged and go subscribe through a different app. 

Looks like your .99 special isn't so special after all.

Me as well, and I canceled it less than 60 minutes later, sent message to support but never received response,  got charged prorated fee for SHOWTIME that I never used, still no credit, resolution, or response back from support. And I have numerous screenshots of the offer sent to me for the .99 cents for 2 months promo, that I subscribed to it,  and paid for it,  but was overcharged so canceled.  I also subscribed to AMC+ for that same 2 month .99 cent offer and there was no problem at all. I feel that it's only right Roku honor the offer,  especially since they can't seem to respond to customer msgs within the promo period or deadline!

Thank you for providing the link to Roku billing support. I reached out to them via chat from that link regarding problem with the SHOWTIME offer for the. 99 cent promo for 2 months and then regular rates, as I had read other Roku users here experienced same problem I did. After spending I think a good two hours of chatting and providing multiple screenshots, I was just informed a billing supervisor would be calling me tonight if I'd be available to receive a call back tonight yet. Chat reps were nice enough,  but I get the distinct feeling that they're not able to do much more than credit an account,  not empowered with tools and resources to provide solutions to problems or honor a Roku offer customer received, subscribed to but didn't get because it's past the deadline. That's not the chat reps fault though.. Thanks again!

You think this is bad (I think so too), try being a customer of Google's Admob.  Not only is there no phone number, but there is no chat and no email.  The kicker is they can suspend your service and they won't even give you a reason why or a warning.

Google is a $1,955,000,000,000 company.  Roku is a $28,905,000,000. Google divided by Roku is 67.63 for those of you keeping score at home.
