I was sent the wrong device

I bought a new Roku Streaming Stick direct from Roku and was sent last year's device.  I want the current Streaming Stick and don't think I should pay to return the wrong device.  How can I get the right device without paying for a return of the wrong one shipped?

Same here. It is very suspicious, in my case I ordered a Roku Premiere upgrade and they sent me a Roku Express.  They never sent me a confirmation email so I am thinking they just decided to switch them without asking. Now they want me to pay for sending the wrong one back to them..

The cost to return was too much so I kept it.  The lesson learned is to never purchase direct from Roku and always purchase from Amazon.  It's nearly impossible to contact Roku support and the return process is difficult and too expensive.  I like Roku devices but purchase from an alternate vendor.

YES IMPOSSIBLE TO GET HOLD OF THEM... They sent me the wrong ITEMS 2 times already within 2 weeks.... It does not take too much intelligence Have  older model 3800X. Says on stick with serial number. All that comes in the box is a REMOTE, Micro USB charging cable and the stick!! The MINI metal that plugs in BACK of STREAMING STICK  broke ( came off)!!.. Was going to install the free extender but never got too without mini in back of stick extender useless... I Need a new micro mini charging cable.. What is it that they do not understand..So they sent me another Extender?? And then sent me some other contraption USB only no mini plug. Even did chat.. Seems useless there. Still no correct part....Plus takes forever for them to get back .....by email....

well its been 3 times wrong item sent. Just got another wrong item today!! I sent pics of everything showing what I need!!  They still do not understand...Agent even said I'll send out micro charging cable and TY for the pics but still wrong item!! In my life of living never experienced this..
