Has anyone been charged for things you DID NOT order?

Jump to solution

I have recently been charged for things that I definitely did not order, or watch.  Support is difficult and unfriendly to such complaints.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I have accidentally pushed one of those ridiculous oversized buttons at the bottom while watching in a dark room, but I don't think that's what happened.  I always hit home immediately when I make that blunder.  I may cut those buttons off.  It also has happened with one of those newer choices such as  "FOXNATIONxxxx"  I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem.

Go to https://my.roku.com/account and look at the links for Manage your subscriptions and for View your purchase history. Does anything show there.

If not, are you sure Roku is the one that billed you?

If there is something there that shouldn't be, cancel the subscription (if it is a subscription) immediately so no further billed items happen. Then you'll want to reach out to @RokuDanny-R  or @RokuMary-F for assistance.

One other thing: if you do find purchases or subscriptions you didn't expect, keep in mind that anyone using your Roku can order/subscribe unless you have a PIN set up to be required for purchases. That's on the Account page also, near the top. It's a good idea to do this anyway, but especially if you have other users that might not understand the implications (children, etc).
