Roku Ultra LT 2021 with Samsung hw-q600c Soundbar
I'm considering purchasing a Samsung hw-q600c 3.1 Soundbar but wanted to check and see if it would be compatible with my Roku device. I currently have a Roku Ultra LT 2021 connected normally via HDMI directly to the T.V. Would I be able to use this soundbar with just channeling the audio to it, or would the T.V. need to be on for the audio to output through the soundbar?Solved665Views0likes1CommentNo audio when screen mirroring from my Roku TV to Windows 11 PC.
I'm screen mirroring from a Win11 PC to a Roku tv. I am using HDMI cable. I've changed the audio output setting to "tv speakers." I have occasionally succeeded in getting the audio through the tv but cannot seem to duplicate what I did earlier so no audio coming through. Also, my PC isn't recognizing the tv in the "add device" option in settings. Any suggestions short of buying all of Roku's accessories?Solved1.4KViews0likes1CommentRoku Streambar displaying 'Out of range'
Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've had mine for 3 years without problems. I used it to watch TV and have the sound through the Streambar. The following day the Streambar starts with the ROKU jumping and then goes off and shows "out of range" and then then nothing but the flashing orange light. I've reset it numerous times and can get it as far as the wireless connection. It shows it is about to start the software download and then goes "out of range" and the orange light flashing and again nothing..Any help would be appreciated.Solved2.1KViews0likes9CommentsRoku wireless speaker stopped working on one side
My speakers are 11 months old (I purchased two sets for two different TVs). My left speaker on one quit working, it's dead and no power to it. I traded the power cord out from the other speaker and it's still dead. Both speakers are wall mounted and free from damage. In total I own three sets of these and I'm fearful the other may die and they are only warrantied for the first 30 days.Solved4.6KViews0likes16CommentsFull wireless set up with projector, streambar, wireless speakers and ultra LT
I have a projector that hangs above the seating area with my screen across the room. I am trying to switch from my traditional wired 5.1 surround setup with speaker wire running everywhere to a nice clean wireless solution. I now have the streambar, wireless speakers, and wireless bass. I understand that the preferred location for the streambar is across the room, directly below the projector screen. Unfortunately, this means I am running a long, ugly HDMI cable from the streambar across the room and up the wall to the projector. This leaves me short of my goal of going fully wireless 5.1. I still have my Ulta LT I purchased less than a year ago. An exquisite solution would be to use the Ultra as the video streamer and wirelessly play the 5.1 audio through the streambar. I believe all the hardware is in place to do this, but based on my research, it is impossible to set it up this way in the settings. I could use the streambar as Bluetooth speakers for the Ultra using the private listening function, but based on my tests, I would have to select the streambar as the audio out each time, and it would only be stereo, not 5.1. So my question is in two parts: 1. Am I missing something? What options am I not considering? 2. If this is all true, I would like this to be considered a feature request. I think it would fill a space in the market and encourage the purchase of more Roku hardware. All of the speaker systems I see in this price range presume that the soundbar will be directly below a TV and thus can easily be hardwired. Supporting full wireless 5.1 would set Roku apart. Does anyone else think this would be awesome?2.2KViews0likes0Comments7.1.x A Dream Never Coming True?
For years I rocked 5.1 channel surround sound and always wanted to get to the next level. I moved into a home and the room had the perfect 7.1 layout opportunity. Built the 7.1 system Onkyo RZ50 receiver to do the work Newest Samsung TV Roku Ultra Spent DAYS with Onkyo support (who are amazing btw) and finally figured out I was using eARC CEC on TV and the receiver. Functioned flawlessly and that's what the ** ARC is for right? Well... Samsung TVs max out at DD 5.1 atmos. ? So any 7.1 signal you try to play throws it off and the TV defaults to PCM stereo. So I found myself only playing 5.1 and neglecting the back speakers. We turned off eARC, ran everything to the receiver, and dummy displayed the TV. Now Roku Ultra is main source and is in Pass-through mode. PROBLEM: I can't find any legit 7.1 sources on YouTube, Netflix, or Prime Video. I was told only Apple TV device and Blue Rays are the only way to get true 7.1. How the ** is it 2023 and all Samsung TVs cant process past 5.1, no passthrough AND eARC option, and I can't find a true 7.1.x source? Can Roku Ultra process or pass true 7.1? Doesn't list that spec but Apple prod does... and I am not an Apple person. Now I just have my far back surrounds mimicing atmos instead just to put them to use. Ugh. Is 5.1 ATMOS the best and I screwed up??2.3KViews0likes1CommentHDCP Error with Roku Soundbar
Within the second day of installing the Roku soundbar we started getting the HDCP Error message. I followed the instructions to properly install the soundbar. I used all the cables that came with the soundbar. I followed the steps to fix the issue, but only seems to be a temporary fix, because the error message will return a few days later. I just recently changed the HDMI cable to one that I previously had. Seemed to be working fine and then the error message came up again. This never happened with any of our previous Roku devices, which were Roku Premier devices. Is anybody experiencing this issue with their Soundbar. I am on the verge of returning it. Hey guys! I have a projector and connected to it is an HDMI 5 port switch. I have 5 devices plugged in as inputs. I also have an optical cord plugged in to output the audio of the device that’s selected on the switch. This optical runs to my roku soundbar. Works perfectly. Now I just need to program this xfinity XR-15 to manipulate the volume levels. Anyone know of any code I can use? I can’t find a manual code search for this remote either:( Model: 9101R Roku 2.0 smart soundbar xfinity remote XR-15 thanks Bjorn5.3KViews0likes6Comments
