Unable to pair Roku Voice Remote
Hello I recently bought a roku replacement remote for my 4660x2 on amazon - Unless its the wrong remote, it does not work and does not have a physical pairing button. I'm told the newer smaller remotes are supposed to automatically work? Is it necessary to hold the BACK button and Play button simultaneously to program it? Or do I have the wrong replacement? I bought an ultra LT model, and after the initial set up, every time I turn it on, the logo pops up and dances on the screen for about three seconds, then it completely drops the signal to the TV. If I hit the reset button the same thing happens. I’ve tried multiple TVs, multiple HDMI ports and cables, and multiple power outlets. If I do a hard reboot on the box by holding down the reset button, it allows me to go through the set up process of pairing the remote, choosing a language, Connecting to the Internet, and then it says downloading. The software is already updated all the way. The issue is once again at this point it cuts off. I’m only able to get that far when I do a hard reset by holding the button down. But it cuts out at the exact same time every single time. I then went and bought an ultra model (not the LT) and the very same thing is happening. Is there something I’m missing?31Views0likes3CommentsRoku Express 4K+ shows no signal
Turned on Roku and tv shows “no signal” had this issue back in March of this year. Tried many troubleshooting routes but nothing worked and then randomly it started working again. Checked all HDMI connections, switched to different port on tv. Plugged into wall outlet and has power. I’ve tried restarting my router. Nothing seems to work.Solved3.9KViews0likes17CommentsSeemingly endless loop of update and restart
I have just bought a Roku Express 4K. I have spent the last hour in a loop in which I selecta language, connect to Wi-Fi, it checks for updates, says an update is available, downloads the update, restarts and then does the same thing at least a dozen times now. Is this normal and how many updates could there be?Solved13KViews0likes10CommentsHow to Connect Roku Ultra to Samsung Soundbar

Before I completely scrap AirTV and move on the maybe a Tablo device instead, I'd welcome feedback on how to resolve what appears to be a connectivity issue that came out of nowhere a few days ago (when I couldn't play any recorded OTA shows or even watch OTA channels live). I have rebooted my AirTV2 device a dozen or more times via the power cord, reset button and WPS button (plus disconnecting/reconnecting all the inputs) and the same thing happens every time: the two lower buttons recycle and stop blinking, but the top one (which appears to track the connection to the DVR hard drive?) just keeps blinking literally forever. Any time I tried watching an OTA channel or play an AirTV recording, I'd get an error message saying the device is not connected. Same thing when I tried rescanning OTA channels through the Sling app on my (admittedly older) iPhone. I should point out that even with Sling's tech help I was never able to get the AirTV to connect to my WiFi, and so have connected it to my modem/router via ethernet cable. So I moved on to the next fixes, which were to delete and reinstall the built-in Sling app on my year-old Samsung TV, and separately on the Roku app on the TV. But now it's even a worse mess: the AirTV recordings have disappeared from my DVR menu, and all the OTA channels have disappeared from the Sling channel guide. And when I try to reinstall the AirTV through the Sling app on my phone, it doesn't find a device. So I'm stuck and, again, am tempted just the chuck the whole thing and start over with Tablo (or something similar) since Sling has stopped supporting AirTV and AirTV itself appears to have gone out of business. Sorry about the long and detailed post, but I feel I've done all I can at this point and would greatly appreciate any feedback and suggestions. I have a 2014 smart TV with broken HDMI ports. I want to connect a Roku device to it to convert it to an Android device. But since it doesn't have HDMI, I need an RCA converter. Which one should I use? The black one that takes RCA input and HDMI output? Or the white one that converts HDMI input and RCA output? Help would be great.32Views0likes1Comment
