Idea for feature
You should have a feature where you can request a notification for when a movie or television show is added to a streaming service (this could be for movies that currently you must purchase outright or rent). by doing this, she would also be beginning valuable data and seeing how many people actually want to watch a show and possibly adding it to your own streaming service. for example, I wanna watch the movie infinity pool, but I subscribe to so many things that I would never pay the four dollars to rent it but I most certainly would like to know when it goes to a streaming service like Roku, Netflix Paramount, etc.
Backdrops & Music
Just got a new Roku TV and love it except I would love to be able to play my Bluetooth or Spotify in the background while the backdrop is displayed. Similarly, I wish the hide picture/display off feature was available on Spotify app. If I use Bluetooth or almost any app the feature is available, but not on Spotify.
**bleep**ing password for Roku tv when someone trying to access it with a phone
Am currently living with my cousins and he has little brothers but there currently **bleep**ing with me and my cousins TV and I wish there was a way to fix this better Idea if someone's trying to well log into your Roku tv with a phone they have to put in a password to access it Anyways please consider this PLEASE I BET PEOPLE LIVING WITH LITTLE PRICKS HAVE THIS PROBLEM TO
Feature Request: Parental Controls
ROKU, PLEASE IMPROVE/SET UP EXTENSIVE PARENTAL CONTROLS OR I’M SWITCHING TO A PLATFORM THAT HAS THEM ALREADY!!!! I’ll GIVE U A COUPLE MONTHS! People, we need to ban together & bring up this need of ours or Roku will do nothing about it!! Hello All, As a parent and customer; I am requesting that Roku expand parental controls. My kids need a password to view apps/shows such as "Go Noodle" and "NASA TV" because it doesn't have a rating?! Furthermore, why can't you keep "Kid and Family" screen up all the time for the Roku channel app? If you agree please like this post and post your own comments. Let the Roku company know. Feature request: parental control for home screen access
Here’s my use case: my young kids have learned that if they wake up long before my wife and I, they can get on the Roku and watch whatever they want. Not worried about them seeing inappropriate content because we prepare for this. However, we often find them awake at 3:00 AM watching their shows. A few features that would help... 1. Add an optional feature to parental controls that asks for a pin on boot up not just to purchase apps 2. Add a “off-time” scheduler feature that won’t allow the Roku to be used based on a schedule. Maybe a pin override to bypass if needed.
Feature Request: TV Time Limits in Parental Controls
So, I have a daughter who has a Roku TV in her room. Recently, I've caught her watching TV late at night on school nights and such. It would be really nice to add a TV Time Limits feature within Parental Controls where you can block the tv from being used after a certain hour (10:00pm to 9:00am, etc.) Confiscating the remote and phone shouldn't have to be completely necessary. Anyway, I'd like to hear your thoughts on the possibility of this getting added sometime in the future. Thanks!
