Foreground & background sound problems on my 4k 43” Hisense Roku TV (6Series-43) on 10-4-2024 update

When I watch videos and play games, the people speaking in the background are significantly quieter than the foreground audio. The foreground audio is so loud but the background audio is so quiet even when the person in the background is in the scene as the other person that’s speaking to the person on the right. I tried changing my audio settings, factory resetting and force restarting my TV. This was never a problem until after I finished installing the new Roku Software update version 14.0 that was released on 10-4-2024. It’s really annoying and it’s hard to enjoy watching videos, movies, tv, listening to music and playing games. Please fix ASAP.

    No Dolby Digital (or DTS)

I've read some posts about surround sound output from Rokus being deprecated with recent updates, so, I'm 'not sure if that's what I'm experiencing. I feel like I was getting Dolby Digital before, but definitely not now. - Roku Ultra - Connected via HDMI into my Vizio E70 - Optical out of Vizio into Yamaha 5.1 Receiver Playing Netflix via the Smart TV app (cutting the Roku out of the mix) - I get Dolby Digital. But when playing via the Roku, no true surround sound. Not sure if it's a Roku upgrade issue, or if for some reason this setup isn't supported. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

TCL Roku TV can't enable Volume Leveling with headphone plugged in

I've got a TCL Model 55S405, running Roku Software version 10.0.0. I have an audio amplifier plugged into the TV's headphone jack and have problems with loud commercials on the Roku Channel and also Hulu. I wanted to try Volume Leveling to help with that, but I can't set that option. Both Sounds Mode and Volume Mode options are grayed out and set to "Normal". After much back and forth with Roku Support, I found that if I unplug the headphone, I'm now able to change those audio options. But that's not an acceptable solution. We use the external amplifier to give us better sound than the TV's internal audio and also to drive speakers in other rooms. Is there another way to use an amplifier and still enable Volume Leveling?

    Roku express making static/scrubbing noise

I just got a new roku express and when I began using it it makes a weird, loud static type of noise. The noise happens even when then TV is muted, so it’s not coming through the TV speakers. I’ve tried all of the solutions for distorted audio and none of them have helped. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?
