Disney not playing content and Netflix not loading
Both Disney+ and Netflix are not loading and playing content on my Roku device my Roku TV so far I have tried factory resets after deleting the app updating the apps. I have done a soft restart as well. I have cleared the cache, I have tried different Internet connections, hardwire connections, restarting my Internet, router Nothing has worked.5Views0likes1CommentPermission Denied
We acquired several Roku Sticks recently and have enjoyed it a lot. Having setup everything the way we like and we have a list of favorites which we've had for eons. 3 Days ago, all of a sudden, trying to access 4 favorites we get the following error message "You don not have permission to access the requested resource", additionally we get "Playback Error: Playback has stopped dur to multiple playback errors..." This happens in all browsers on all computers and Roku Sticks. We originally got the Roku sticks (which is our go to...) because it offered more features than Amazon FireTV. These favorites work on FireTV (by that I mean we can watch them). We were about to get rid of our FireTV, but this is a showstopper and a huge disappointment. It happens on multiple channels on multiple TVs within DirectTV. Never had this issue with YouTubeTV. Sound suddenly gets very loud and highly distorted (usually at during a critical sports play or important interview!). Is it a ROKU issue or DirectTV? 4640x 14.6.4 Build 9909.29 GC13.16.10 Issue: 52 233 475 Tried to open YouTube but it crashes back to the home screen. Tried Amazon and other apps but they say: "cannot load the app from the internet, check network connection". Checked the network and it is fine and Roku streaming channels work. Checked last software update and it was today. Rebooted twice... Reset the network once. I use Media Monkey (MM) on my computer and Android Phones. I also have it setup as a DLNA Server and use Roku Media Player (RMP) on 3 different Roku Devices. Everything works exactly as expected with the exception of the Song Order with the Playlists on the RMP and Shuffle is not on either. The sort Order on all three RMBs are set to Default, however I cannot make heads or tales out of the actual order. It does not match MM on my computer or phones. If I change the sort order to AtoZ or ZtoA options it is correct for those options, but when using Default it appears to be random with the exception of the first song which is always correct. After that I can not figure it out. It is not alphabetical, file location, file size, bit rate, Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Year or Track #. It also is not the file date, timestamp, VBR or CBR. All other metadata on the mp3s are empty. BTW, I only use Track # on my mp3s in MM if it is an entire album where it is important, ie: Abbey Road or a Prog album so some have it but most do not. I do not understand why RMP does not use the Playlist Sequence used in Media Monkey, but I also can not figure out what the Default sort order is actually using. If I knew that, maybe I could use that to correct the sequence of my Playlists in RMB. However, it would be much better if the Playlists just played in the sequence defined on the DLNA Server. I just started my three month free Apple TV+ trial on my brand new Roku Streambar SE, and the Apple TV app is not in my list of Apps. I go to add it and it does not give me that option. I think it thinks I have the App already installed, but yet it doesn't show in my installed apps. The only way I can watch Apple TV on my new Roku is to search for it, then select it in the result. Hi, Is there a problem with the BBC iPlayer app? For the past few days this app has not been working, it shows the BBC iPlayer logo and just hangs. All other apps work fine including BBC Sounds.
