Can’t login to Hulu on ROKU
I have Hulu on my Roku. It was working fine up until a few days ago. When I select Hulu it asks me to login with MyDisney login and password. I didn’t have one so I created one. I now can login in to my Hulu on my phone and my iPad. I still cannot login on my ROKU. I’ve been watching Apple TV on my Roku for a while now and now it wants me to sign in again. I’m signed in on my phone so I just scan the QR code on screen, sign in and it says ‘Already Subscribed, your Tv should refresh’. A moment later my Tv refreshes and I’m back to a new QR code prompting me to sign in. I have restarted my Roku, checked for updates on Roku and the app, deleted and reinstalled Apple TV, finally I factory reset my Roku and I’m still having this issue. Viewing on Acorn TV app on 4K streaming stick. After pausing a video, pressing “Resume Series x Episode y” results in video restarting from the beginning. Selecting the video and pressing the “resume” (vs “Play from Start”) restarts video from the beginning. I updated Roku and Acorn TV, restarted the app and Acorn TV, deleted are reinstalled the app, etc. Doesn’t matter what series I’m watching, the “resume” button always restarts a video from the very beginning721Views5likes28CommentsSpotify not working
When I opened up my spotify it shows a white screen with the words "Server returned HTIP status 401" in the top left corner. I checked for any updates on the app and then removed it. We have Roku televisions as well as smart tvs with Roku sticks. We have a number of streaming services, most of which were subscribed to directly from the providers, but three which were subscribed to through my Roku account. A couple days ago, all three services paid for through Roku sign out on all televisions in the house. There is no way to sign back in to these because the account is through Roku, so I have no login directly to these services. Suggestions online said to try restarts or unplugging. I have tried both on every television, but no change. There were also suggestions to delete and reinstall these apps. Unlike the directly subscribed apps, using '*' does not offer a delete option for these apps that are purchased through Roku. I'm stuck. I have an older roku that I ‘inherited’, but i cant seem to clear iut the initial login/email of the original owner. Anytime i add a new app it automatically tries to use that initial login/email Is there a way to clear it out? I was sick for a couple of weeks so didn't use my ROKU in the kitchen. When I did turn it on, all my apps were gone or rearranged. Now had 38, most were ones I had deleted years ago, so I knew there was a download or factory reset or something while I was sick. I mostly watch You Tube which wasn't on the list, so tried to download it again. I kept getting a mg saying there wasn't enough memory, so I started dumping some of the icons I don't use, and when I had dumped 12 or more kept getting the same msg. So, I unplugged it for a while and plugged it back in. I tried downloading YT again and this time it was working. It was asking me for my email or phone # and password. I filled in all the boxes, now it's telling me that something is wrong, wrong Google password, etc. So, if I have to change Google password, that screws up all my other devices, etc. So, I still haven't been able to download YT, and have been working on it for a couple of hrs. This is ridiculous. Does anyone have problems like this with Apple's product?
