I have Spectrum streaming and sometimes when I click on the app the next day and it opens up to the home screen it's showing shows and times from the day before. It never updates to the current day and time. It also takes forever to change channels and such. I have to go into my Roku TV and do a system restart or "restart app" in order to get it to reset to current day and time. The system restart is the only way to get it to go back to not taking forever to change channels. It totally acts like it has been running in the background the whole time the TV was off cause I've got the habit of just turning the TV off and not exiting to the home screen first before turning the TV off. It's also not the only app I've seen show signs of supposedly running in the background. Re: 55 inch Onn Roku TV and sometimes YouTube and Hulu have this crackling and popping sound I'm having all kinds of issues with Hulu. The aforementioned sound issues but also each episode keeps skipping the final 7 or so minutes of Walker, Texas Ranger. I'm getting so frustrated, especially with the complete lack of communication from Roku's end. Re: 55 inch Onn Roku TV and sometimes YouTube and Hulu have this crackling and popping sound The auto leveling feature also goes in and out when watching Roku. 55 inch Onn Roku TV and sometimes YouTube and Hulu have this crackling and popping sound I really hope it's ok to post my issue in this thread since it's similar in nature. I don't have such a setup, but I do have a 55 inch Onn Roku TV and sometimes YouTube and Hulu have this crackling and popping sound you're talking about. My TV and my apps are up to date. I don't know if it's the audio settings I use 'Leveling' and 'Auto,' I have a smaller 32 inch Onn Roku TV and I don't have this issue with it. It's pretty frustrating when it happens and it just seems to be a random thing when it happens. Re: Hulu channel jumping to next episode while watching "Drain the Oceans" Same thing just started happening to me yesterday while watching Walker, Texas Ranger. It's always within the final 7 minutes of an episode and it just randomly jumps to the next episode. Only happens with Hulu. Re: Is there a maximum number of channel apps one can add to your Roku device/account? I think there is a channel limit, at least on Roku TV's. I had 94 channels on my device and tried to add another and it kept giving me a failed to install error. After I deleted a channel then the installed worked fine. Re: When trying to search for anything, I get "no search results. Yep. I'm having the same issue. Tried both Roku TVs and a Roku Ultra. Everything is updated. Search function worked earlier but I just tried it again and now it's not working at all. "No search results" is all that pops up regardless of what I type in. Frustrating.
