Roku TV 6114X
TCL model 55US57-W
Serial number YWOOG2208804
scan network finds several, including the t-mobile 5G router,
and two SSIDs of 2.4 and 5 Ghz
firmware 11.0 build 4293-22
wifi scan always works, finds 3 in-house SSIDs,
select any of the 3 discoved networks
enter password
always returns "not connected"
I haven's seen one of this mentioned in a long time, but some people have reported an inability to connect if their wifi password contained non-alphanumeric characters.
The problem of my neighbor's TCL Roku TV not logging in to his wifi ...
I can log his TV into my wifi next door! LOL
And his other TCL Roku TV also logs into his wifi first time and always
We are really stumped
Any TCL Roku experts here have any suggestions?
Again,
The TV's network scan finds all his 3 SSIDs and others
Any of his 3 SSID is entered,
the password entered,
"connect" button always results immediately in "not connected"
Verify with your neighbor that he does not have Family Mode Enabled or any setting on the network app that may be "Pausing" the connection to his network for the RokuTV.
The fact that you can connect this RokuTV to your wifi, but not his own while others are connecting to same network, seems to indicate that a setting (probably from the mobile app) is blocking connection to the TMobile network.
