missing the network menu in Roku Premier

We have several ROKU devices as well as ROKU TVs. The Roku Premier device no longer shows the menu for the network connection. We have both 2.4 and 5g and the device is online and working. I want to change to a different network but the menu that normally appears under settings is missing. What gives here? Thanks

Re: missing the network menu in Roku Premier

Hey @Moccasin

Thanks for the post.

To update your network connection, you should follow the steps below. Let us know specifically if there's a Settings menu that doesn't show up.

  1. Press Home on your remote
  2. Scroll to select Settings
  3. Select Network
  4. Select Set up connection
  5. Choose Wired or Wireless
  6. If you select Wired, your Roku device will automatically connect to your network and the internet. If you select Wireless, continue to the next step.
  7. Select your network from the list of available networks. If you do not see your network, select Scan again to see all networks.
  8. Enter your network password. To see the password as you type, choose Show password.
  9. Select Connect

Please keep us posted!

All the best,
Kariza

Re: missing the network menu in Roku Premier

I think I confused the problem with my explanation.  The menu under “settings” where you would normally click to go to networks is what is missing. It’s not there even after reset.

What Roku Premiere model # and firmware version do you have?  Settings/System/About

What reset did you do?

1)  Restart:  Settings/System/System restart/Restart

2) Network connection reset:  Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Network connection reset

3) Factory reset:  Settings/System/Advanced system settings/Factory reset

Try doing them in order, but do a check for updates first:  Settings/System/System update/Check now
