I got updated 1G Xfinity Router. Since then (coincidence?) 4 Roku streaming devices loose Wi-Fi connectivity every day. Prior to that, I never had an issue (past year). I have to restart each time I want to watch TV over Roku. Any suggestions/help?
Thank you -
Make sure your Roku devices are updated with latest version.
SETTINGS...SYSTEM....SYSTEM UPDATE....CHECK NOW. (Click it and let it do its thing.) You should get notice 9.4 (build 4200) presumably. Need to do all all the Roku devices.
then...
SETTINGS...SYSTEM...SYSTEM RESTART
If this doesn't help, then will most probably have to tinker with some settings at the router to troubleshoot the daily disconnects.
What are your Roku models and do you know how to login to your router's admin panel? Also looks like your router has an app so maybe download to phone if you haven't already.
Try the Roku updates first though.
Thanks for input. They are Premiere 4K and all are up to date on 9.4.0 version, 4200 build. I do have Xfinity router App and am able to see Roku devices connected. Thank you
At least you are able to keep reconnecting to your network. As you probably know, the Premiers are operating on the 2.4gz band of your network.
Seems like a number of people are experiencing disconnecting/unable to see networks when they have a router upgrade or since the 9.4 update from Roku.
Are you able to configure your 2.4gz network from within the router's admin settings? A common theme appears to be trying to get all the wireless devices operating on the 2.4gz to play nice with each other while not degrading the performance.
There are a few settings you can verify/change that should make your connection a little more stable.

FYI, all the Premieres are 4K but some are dual-band - it depends on which model they have.
The disconnectivity could be the result of several things, so probably best to establish which model(s) they have, and how they are connecting to the Xfinity router to start with.
Good point. Just assumed newer Premiers, since he had them for a year.
