Won’t let me connect to dorm wifi, and activation link after resetting won’t work
For 2 weeks I have been able to connect my TV to the dorms wifi. All of a sudden today it wouldn’t let me connect to the dorms wifi and it kept connecting to a different one that would not work. I factory reset it, and now the activation link sent to my email won’t activate the tv. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m not connected to the wifi but it won’t let me exist the activation part on the tv screen to try and connect one now.
I think I'm correct in saying that you need to have the Roku device already set up before attempting to use the Hotel/Dorm Connect feature. So, don't factory reset if you don't have access to a standard network.
But, not that we're there, you'll need to take it to a standard network to set it up. Your phone's hotspot will accomplish this, if you so choose.
