Help! I recently just bought a new Roku express and it will not connect to my wireless network. I reset the Wi-Fi, i reset the roku and it will not connect. I have century link internet and i called them and they told me to get in contact with the manufacturer. I tried to change the admin settings on my end because other forms say to switch to b/g/n instead of b/g but my internet is already set to b/g/n. What else can i do?

If you are getting an error code or message, refer to this link for common Roku error codes and their recommended actions: How to connect your Roku device to the internet using Wi-Fi or Ethernet
Furthermore, please be advised that Roku Express is only compatible with wireless b/g/n networks on the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Ensure that your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the device to connect to.
You can also try configuring your router and use wireless channels 1, 6, or 11 which are the preferred channels in North America. Each time you change the wireless channel, you will likely need to apply/save changes before you are prompted to restart the router.
Please keep us posted.
All the best,
Kariza
This happens to me at least twice a week. I have Xfinity. Every time this I happens I have to go to my account on xfinity and change my wifi password. Then type the new one in on the Roku and it works again. I’m ready to go crazy over this. I hope it works for you also
