This has just recently became a problem but our Roku is saying that the internet isn’t working and showing error 14.30. However, the wifi is working everywhere else except on this Roku device. We’ve been trying to fix it and doing everything it told us to (even did a factory reset) and nothing has changed. If anyone could help that would be great. #wifi #14.30 #help
This is the best response that worked for me:
"Have you ensured your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the device to connect to? The Roku Express/Premiere is only compatible with wireless b/g/n networks on the 2.4 GHz spectrum."
If you are using a 2.4ghz only Roku device, and also using Xfinity/Comcast/Cox, it looks like the next rollout of firmware updates to routers are occuring by these ISP providers. You will need to edit your 2.4ghz settings and change the Mode from g/n to b/g/n.
