I unplugged my Roku stick and then plugged it back in. Now when I try to put my wifi password in it won’t connect. I’ve restarted and factory reset the stick. It will connect to my phone hotspot but not home wifi.
Try rebooting your modem/router. It may not do any good, but it's something to try.
I'm having the same issue, the password is right and everything I'm the house is connecting just not the TV. Internet company says Roku just did an update and is having alot of trouble tonight. And of course there's no way to contact anyone about it. 😞 hopefully this is fixed soon.
Thanks for the post.
Have you tried what @renojim mentioned? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to try to resolve the issue?
With more information we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,

Same issue here. A few days ago all of a sudden my Roku lost the ability to connect to my wifi. Have had the device for just over a year and has always worked fine. Nothing has changed with my router, internet provider, location, etc. All my other “non Roku” devices connect with no issues. Appears there may have been an update that screwed things up pretty severely. Worst part is the apparent lack of customer support. Seriously, how do you contact a live person to get an answer???? If a rogue update has screwed everyone over what do we do?? Where’s the help?? If no solutions come quickly I know I will never utilize Roku again and hopefully they realize that bad reviews spread pretty dang fast throughout the community.
Thanks for the post.
Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? What Roku model device are you using? What troubleshooting steps have you already tried to resolve your issue?
