When using a wireless connection, which device will provide the strongest internet speed?

The TV which is located the furtherest from the modem and router at times buffers.  Currently using the streaming stick +.  Would another device perform better?

Re: When using a wireless connection, which device will provide the strongest internet speed?

Well... one with a wired connection would, but I'm guessing that's not an option.  If it is, go that route.  The only devices that would stand a chance are the Ultra devices and the Soundbar/Streambar, but first try a few things.  If your stick is plugged directly into the TV, try the short HDMI extender to get it away from the TV.  You can get one for free at https://my.roku.com/HDMI , but it's quicker to just buy one online.  I'm not sure how helpful it is if you already have the AWR (advanced wireless receiver) anyway.  If you have both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi available, try both.  Also try changing the Wi-Fi channel your router is using.  Bear in mind that not all 5GHz channels are available.  Use a low one or a high one, but not one in the middle.  Search for "DFS channels" for those not supported.
