What does it mean when a red light flashes on the bottom of the tv ? It’s not even a year old.

Who makes the TV (TCL, Sharp, Onn, Hisense, etc.)?  Roku doesn't make the TVs.  You should check the TV manufacturer's website.

Have you tried contacting Philips support yet to inquire further? I'd suggest starting there to see what options or suggestions they can provide. Each Roku TV manufacturer provides direct support and warranty services for their products running the Roku OS.
