WIFI works but Roku will not connect #RokuExpress3900X
I have 2 Roku TV's Westinghouse brand and I have the Roku Express 3900X. The Roku will not connect on one of the tv's the one in the living room that is right next to the modem. The other TV works fine and my internet works fine. I can get Netflix on the problem tv through my router but I cannot get Roku to connect. I tried connecting to my cell phone as a hotspot and it does connect to my cell phone. What could be the problem? Please assist.
1) Roku Express 3900X
2) I have 2 Smart TV's one TV works fine connected to the Roku.
3) When I use my cell phone hotspot with the problem TV Roku connects
4) I have restarted everything and unplugged everything. Checked the password etc...nothing works.
Furthermore, please be advised that Roku Express is only compatible with wireless b/g/n networks on the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Ensure that your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the device to connect to.
You can also try configuring your router and use wireless channels 1, 6, or 11 which are the preferred channels in North America. Each time you change the wireless channel, you will likely need to apply/save changes before you are prompted to restart the router.
