A couple of days ago, all 3 of the rokus in my home stopped working saying "not connected" to the internet. Whenni try to connect to my wifi, I'm getting the same message "unable to connect to wireless network". My wifi is working (it's connected on my laptop and I've tested it on other devices) but the roku keeps giving me this error.
As suggested, I've restarted both the rokus and my router, and I'm still having this problem. What's going on?
No idea, but I am having the same problem. My internet signal is strong, my roku device is less than a foot away from my router. I have tried restarting it three times and unplugging it twice.
What Roku device? The Express? Express+? Premiere/Premiere+ (model 3920/3921)?
Those only support 2.4 GHz band. If your network is only transmitting 5 GHz band, it won't see the network.
Yes, I get that it used to work, but could something happened to your network setup that made it only transmit on the 5 GHz band?

You mentioned that if my wireless was transmitting 5GHz my roku wouldn't "see" the network. Do you mean it wouldn't be listed in the rokus network list? Asking because my wireless is listed on the rokus network list but it still won't connect.
I am having the same problem with my streaming stick but not my roku TV which have both been connected to the same network since I moved in and now my streaming stick will recognize the network but it says there’s no internet connection when my phone and my roku TV are both connected and streaming just fine! I honestly do not understand what happened because it has been working fine then it literally just couldn’t connect to it anymore so I’ve been having to turn my hotspot on my phone on and use that in my bedroom!! I’ve checked for updates there’s not any I’ve restarted it SEVERAL times every other device is connected and working just fine EXCEPT my streaming stick! I’m just so frustrated I can’t lay in my bed and watch my shows without using my hotspot that’s now incredibly slow and streams like we’re back using dial up internet!😂 SOMEONE please help before I lose my mind if I can’t get it fixed here soon!!! I didn’t touch anything or change or move anything everything is literally just like it has been for the last few years!!!
I have internet with Verizon. I just spent an hour on the phone with them. I told them my roku wasn't able to connect and mentioned the 2.5 ghz vs 5 ghz thing someone else mentioned. After a bit of time, the agent said they changed some settings on my router and the roku started working again. So I'd suggest calling your internet provider.
And it seems like roku is no longer providing chat support with an agent for the roku express, which is really **bleep**.
Same issue here. Everything else is working, reset Roku, reset router and modem, still only Roku saying it isn't connecting, everything else is working great. Kinda getting tired of this connection issue, it's been on and off for the past four years and only seems to be an issue with Roku. Perhaps someone there could do a fix?
