The past 7-10 days, Roku TV has started lagging and buffering.

Every time I stream an app it says pouring in connection but that's not the case I have excellent connection could it be rokul Express acting up please let me know

I've tried ALL the recommended Roku lagging "fixes" and nothing works. At all. My streambar was malfunctioning so I had to disconnect it.  No lagging sound without the streambar and MUCH better overall performance from my 65" Panasonic Viera plasma TV functions, which by the way is almost 15 years old, is on 24/7 and is THE BEST TV I've ever owned. I miss the subwoofer which never worked well on a consistent basis until recently when I used my Roku PRO voice remote to simply say " increase Roku subwoofer volume". It was like a "miracle" fix. But now I'm **bleep** outta luck for the time being. Has Roku made any improvements to the newer Roku streambar models? Would it be a waste of $$ to "upgrade" to a newer Roku streambar??

We’d love to get a better idea of the problem you're having. Could you share a bit more info so we can help out?

  • Does the buffering happen on a specific app or all the apps on your Roku device?
  • What error message or code do you see when accessing the app?
  • Have you tried connecting your Roku device to an alternative wireless connection, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if the problem lies within the Roku device or to your internet?
