TV turns on and off.

I just installed streaming stick +. I have a main TV that is hard-wired to cable (Xfinity) and two TVs upstairs to which I attached the Roku Straming Stick+. One Tv works fine with it. The other TV continues to turn off and on sporadically when in use with Roku. It is pa Samsung, three years old. An HDMI error code shows up occasionall, but that TV is not connected with an HDMI cable. It is wireless. I’ve tried unplugging it, etc, and going through the set up process again.

Re: TV turns on and off.

Your wireless connection to the network means there is no Ethernet connection.

HDMI is the connection made between the Roku stick and the tv. It is definitely in use or you would get no audio and video.

On your Roku see if it helps to make sure Settings > System > Control other devices > 1-touch play is unchecked.
