Stick 3810X Not my day - Dead Remote & router - Now I cannot connect
I have a 3810X streaming stick (connects via HDMI to tv). Discovered the remoted stopped working, despite changing several sets of batteries or pressing the pairing button. So, i downloaded the Roku remote control app and it worked well.
Then my route when down. In short, i have new wifi settings. Even if I tried to use the same SSID & PW, the roku stick remains unconnected.
Without wifi, the app is useless. and without a working remote control, the roku stick is useless. Unfortunately, none of my friends have a Roku that I can borrow a remote for a few hours to sort this out.
If there is a way I can get into the stick and settings ?

Sorry, nope. If you set up your phone's hotspot with the last SSID and password the stick connected to will it connect to that? Not that it's a solution, but it may indicate a problem with the new router if it can connect to your phone's hotspot.
