Shows skipping and Spinning blue circle. This never happened before. Have Roku and Phillips Roku TV

I have had this Roku acct and Phillips Roku TV for a few years. This has never happened. We use a DSL hookup and this is not the problem. Now on British and other channels it skips through and over shows. It takes a while - spinning blue circle - to load. What is this???? Is there a Roku device that will stop the problem?

You didnt mention your Roku TV model # or firmware version:  Settings/System/About

However, try:

1) Check for updates:  Settings/System/System updates/Check now

2) Restart your Roku: Settings/System/System restart/Restart

3) Restart your modem/router/gateway

4) Try again
