Screen limit Too many people are using your account right now.

I have only one tv using Roku, started watching a show on my ipad, a couple of minutes in, I got this message. Screen limit too many people are using your account right now. Upgrade your plan or stop playing on one of these screens.

I have never had this problem before. 

Then the screen says Roku-High Water and Roku-Cry Babies Magic Tears

What is going on?

Both those titles you mentioned are available via Netflix.  Perhaps too many users using the Netflix account at same time.  Were you also viewing Netflix on your Ipad when this message appeared?
