Roku won't connect to my internet, and cannot factory reset because I forgot my PIN

I have tried reconnecting to the network, restarting Roku (both via screen and via pinhole on device), and starting my router. I cannot get my roku to connect to the wifi despite my wifi working on everything else. I tried to go back to factory settings to just start over, but I forgot my PIN number. I went online on my laptop and changed my number, but now I cant get back to the factory reset because my Roku isn't connected to wifi to see that I changed my PIN. Is there any way to fix this? I have the cheapest device (not sure the name, but I've had it for a little over a year and haven't had this problem).

never mind, I see the PIN number at the bottom of the reset screen. I'm an idiot and need glasses.

NOW, the system has been factory reset and I still cannot connect to my router.

@naferris, do you have Xfinity or Cox as your ISP?  If so, go into your router's settings and change the wireless mode from g/n to b/g/n.
