My roku tv lost internet connection after a power outage and has not be able to connect to the wifi even after a factory reset. It has been almost 3 months and i’m just confused why it will not work.
Same for me! My connection has worked totally fine and I’ve done all the resets and it still won’t read my WiFi (which works on all our other devices).
Power failures and/or restores often are accompanied by spikes that can damage electronics. Perhaps your power failure damaged the wifi radio / network adapter in your Roku tv, this preventing it from connecting to your network.
Roku doesn't manufacture "Roku TV" sets, it only supplies the Roku operating system. Hardware issues need to be referred to the manufacturer of the set.
Manufacturer support contacts for Roku TVs can be found in this support post: https://community.roku.com/t5/Manufacturer-Support-Warranty-Resources/Contacting-Support-for-Your-Ro...
Your issue is probably not the same, unless you also have a Roku TV (one with Roku capabilities built in) and the problem was brought on by a power outage.
There are a couple of network connection problems recently being reported that have been caused by updates to routers. These have primarily been reported with routers supplied by internet providers, but it's possible they could also occur with user-owned routers that have received updates.
If you need to make configuration changes on equipment supplied by your internet provider but you have no access to its settings, you may need to request your internet provider to make the changes for you.
