Had been using Roku on projector connecting through mobile hotspot on my revvvl/android phone. Worked all day and spontaneously stopped. Asks the at home/ dorm room question. Did network reset on phone and Roku. Did factory reset on Roku. Still gives at home/dorm room prompt.
Tried connecting hotspot to Roku tv and same issues.
What's next???
Do you have another non-Roku device you can connect to that hotspot to verify the hotspot is working? Did you choose "home" at the prompt?
You should note that streaming video uses a lot of data and even if you have an "unlimited" plan your mobile company may be throttling your data after you've used some amount.
Maybe switch your network source to WIFi, that way you don't use up your data limits and your provider is forced to throttle or slow down your transmission.
