Roku stopped working on all TVs and can’t find Internet Connection

6 years with Roku and never a problem, now all of a sudden Roku disconnected from WiFi on all TVs and will not even recognize our router. Internet fine on all other devices. Not a router problem. We’ve done everything suggested on this thread and nothing. Is there a support number we can call? We’re about to pull away from Roku altogether.

Re: Roku stopped working on all TVs and can’t find Internet Connection

Your profile lists that you have a Roku LT and a Roku Express.  Both of these models were released as entry-level models with single band wifi radios, operating in the 2.4 GHz range only.  They don't even see the 5 GHz band.

If you have a dual band router with both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, be sure the router's 2.4 GHz band is turned on.  Also make sure the channel the router is using in the 2.4 GHz band is in the range of channels 1 to 11 as are used in the US -- channels 12-14 used in some other countries are not supported.

There have been a number of reports lately of people who have routers supplied by their Internet Provider having their router's 2.4 GHz band disabled by an update to the router software. They've had to have their Internet Provider re-enable the 2.4 GHz band, or in some cases swap in a new router.
