I have a Roku express and my remote suddenly stopped working. Wasn’t a huge issue because I could still use the remote in the Roku app. But now my app can’t find my device. I’ve tried resetting the device but no luck and I can’t navigate anything with no remote or app remote. Anything else I can do or do I need to buy a new remote?

If you factory reset it to where it's on the "Let's get started" page then you'll need a remote.
If you simply reset/restarted it to where it's on the normal Home Screen then try restarting all your network equipment - gateway/modem/router. Does it display the time in the upper right or "Not connected"?
